Congrats to my guys, Will and TJB on earning their first Division 1 scholarship offers! Very proud of you both. Keep working hard, never settle!
Congrats to Anna, TJ, Cam, Sierra, Amaya, Ryan, JoJo, and Paige on being named to the All-Area Team. I feel blessed for the opportunity to be part of your journey!
Thanks to my guy Coach Derek for helping me provide elite shooting instruction for the Hoop Group Top 100 event!
Congrats to the brodie Cam Reddish for taking home a share of the Mickey D’s 3-point title! I can’t wait to watch you play and show why you’re the best in the class of 2018!
Paige Lauder is the Main Line Athlete of the Week! Extremely honored and humbled that Paige mentioned me in her interview. She is an incredible talent with unique size and skill for her position. Paige led her team to 5A district final with 34 points in a 69-58 win over West Chester Rustin. Next up, are the undefeated Warriors from Henderson in the championship game at Temple on Saturday. Good luck!
Congrats to my guys Cam Reddish, TJ Berger (pictured above) and Mason Mosley on being three of SE Pennsylvania’s top three-point shooters. Cam, TJ and Mason get up thousands and thousands of shots in an empty gym to shine when the house is packed! Don’t worry JDG Basketball will be adding more athletes to this list come next season!
Congrats to my boy Will Soucie and his Gill St. Bernard squad for winning their fourth consecutive Somerset County Tournament title! The Knights upended Rutgers Prep 56-54 to capture the crown.
Congrats to Coach Sean Costello and star player Anna Camden on completing yet another improbable run to a state title! Shipley the 5 seed, upset 4 seed Westtown, 1 seed Germantown Academy and 3 seed Notre Dame en route to another PAISAA State Championship. There’s something about the month of February that brings out the best in these Gators! Shipley now has won 4 of the last 5 PAISAA state crowns. Amazing!
Villa Maria forward, Paige Lauder capped an exceptional sophomore campaign by being awarded the MVP of her league Tuesday night. It’s nice to see all the hours in an empty gym pay off for such an exceptional student-athlete. Congrats Paige, your journey is just beginning!
I want to thank all of my players, their families, my staff, our Athletic Director Mr. Price and the entire Oxford community for their support throughout our season. I am very grateful to be at the helm of Oxford basketball. I feel with the support of my unrelenting assistant coaches and our hungry student-athletes we will make huge strides in preparing our players for the 2018-2019 season. Go Hornets!
